Product audit & UX review

An expert outside perspective on your existing product — identifying friction, conversion blockers, and quick wins backed by evidence, not opinion.

You're too close to your own product

When you've built something from the inside, it's nearly impossible to see what users see. Flows get added to and patched — the cumulative effect is a product that works but doesn't flow.

Our senior designers review your product with fresh eyes, applying heuristic analysis and user behaviour data to surface what's causing friction, what's blocking conversion, and what's worth fixing first.

The ROI of fixing UX

UX friction has a direct commercial cost — it shows up in drop-off rates, support tickets, and churn data. Every confused user is lost revenue.

A product audit identifies exactly where these losses are happening. Fixing the top friction points in a core journey can often deliver conversion improvements that outperform months of new feature development.

Product audit FAQs

What's included in a product audit?

Our audits typically include a heuristic evaluation of key screens and journeys, an analysis of conversion and drop-off data, an accessibility review, and a prioritised findings report. We tailor the scope to your product's specific context and where the pain is greatest.

How long does a product audit take?

Most audits are completed in 2–3 weeks depending on the complexity of the product and the number of journeys we review. We work efficiently — the goal is to get you actionable insights quickly, not to spend months documenting every edge case.

Do you need access to analytics or user data?

It helps, but it's not required. If you have Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, or session recording data available, we'll use it to ground our findings in real behaviour. If not, we can conduct a thorough heuristic evaluation based on the product itself and any qualitative feedback you have from users or support.

What happens after the audit?

We present findings to your team with clear recommendations and a suggested prioritisation. From there, many clients choose to continue working with us to implement the improvements — either as a project engagement or through our subscription model. Others take the findings in-house. Either way, you leave with a clear picture of what to do next.

Find out what's holding your product back.

Stop guessing why users aren't converting. Get a clear, evidence-based view of what's broken — and a roadmap to fix it.
