At The Treasury, we combine strategy, UX/UI design and product thinking to help startups and ambitious teams deliver digital products people love.
Most design agencies hand your project to a mid-weight designer while the senior you met in the pitch moves on. At The Treasury, the senior is who you work with — every day, on every decision.
We embed directly with your team, think like product owners, and care about outcomes — not just delivering files.
That's the difference between a vendor and a partner. We're the latter.
Johnny Huntington, founder and lead designer, has spent over 15 years designing digital products for global brands — Shell, BT, Indeed, Sainsbury's, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
That depth of experience means we spot problems early, propose smarter solutions, and make better decisions under pressure — skills that only come from doing this for a long time.
You benefit from every lesson we've learned, without paying for us to learn them on your project.
Measurable impact across our client portfolio
Fewer layers. More impact.
The senior designer you speak to is the one who designs your product. No account managers, no handoffs, no dilution.
We start with user goals, business objectives and product thinking — not pixels. Every interface decision has a reason behind it.

The Treasury
Founder & Lead Digital Product Designer
Johnny is a senior product design strategist with over 15 years' experience designing websites, SaaS platforms and enterprise digital products.
His expertise spans UX strategy, UI design, service design, and design systems — delivering complete end-to-end product experiences. He has worked with global brands such as Shell, BT, indeed, and enterprise platforms, helping leaders embed user-centred thinking and deliver smart, scalable design at speed.
As founder of The Treasury, Johnny brings a hands-on, outcome-driven approach to every project — partnering with teams to help them move faster, reduce risk, and design with confidence.
After 15 years inside agencies and in-house teams, I kept seeing the same pattern. Great briefs. Talented people. But the work getting diluted. Too many layers. Too much account management. Senior people in the pitch, junior people on the project.
The clients I admired most didn't need a team of twenty. They needed one experienced person who understood their business, cared about the outcome, and could be trusted to just get it right. That person was rarely the one doing the work.
So I built what I always wished existed. A senior-led studio where the person you hire is the person who designs. Where strategy and craft aren't separate services — they happen in the same room, with the same person, from day one.
That's The Treasury. Direct, accountable, and built on 15+ years of doing this for real.
— Johnny Huntington, Founder
Great design isn't decoration. It's a business advantage.
Sarah brings over eight years of UX experience across fintech and healthcare. She's obsessed with removing friction — whether that's in a user flow, a design system or a client meeting.
Marcus helps ambitious teams cut through ambiguity and build products with a clear direction. With a background in product management and research, he keeps the work grounded in outcomes, not output.
Priya crafts interfaces that feel as good as they look. She's a systems thinker at heart — building scalable UI components and design languages that hold up across every screen size and edge case.
Tom maps the bigger picture — end-to-end service journeys, organisational touchpoints and the messy human stuff in between. He's worked across public sector, logistics and SaaS, and brings a calm clarity to complex problems.
Four principles that shape
every project we take on.
We never open Figma until we understand the problem. The best design decisions happen long before the first pixel.
Every project is led by someone who has shipped real products. You get our best thinking — not a junior team shadowing it.
A polished deck that doesn't move the needle isn't success. We measure our work by the impact it creates — not the deliverables it generates.
We'd rather tell you something is wrong than ship it. Real partnership means giving you the perspective you need — not always the one you want to hear.

We start with users, business and brand strategy, then design and engineering.

We work closely with founders, product teams and engineers to ship fast and well.

Every output is grounded in real-world outcomes — measurable performance, not just polish.

Pick your model — projects, sprints or our long-term subscription partnership.
Yes — some of our most rewarding work is with early-stage teams shaping their product for the first time. Whether you have a rough concept or an early MVP, we can help you define the experience, design the product, and build a foundation that scales with your business.
We're an independent studio, so a traditional employment arrangement isn't what we offer. But our subscription model is designed to give you the closest thing — a senior designer who is always available, embedded in your product, and aligned with your goals on a flexible ongoing basis.
Our rates depend on the engagement type and scope. For project-based work, we discuss day rates during an initial consultation. Our subscription model offers a more predictable fixed monthly investment. Book a free call and we'll walk you through what makes sense for your situation.
Our typical start time is 1–2 weeks from contract sign-off, depending on current capacity. If you have an urgent timeline, mention it when you book your consultation — we'll always be honest about availability upfront.
Absolutely. We collaborate with in-house teams regularly — whether that's leading a specific initiative, providing senior oversight, filling a capacity gap, or introducing a design system that brings more consistency to the team's work.
We're based in Dubai but work with teams across the Middle East, UK and Europe. Almost all our engagements are remote-first, with regular video calls and async collaboration built in. If you need in-person workshops or on-site embedded work, we can discuss that during your consultation.
Figma is our primary design tool for everything from early wireframes to high-fidelity UI and design systems. We use Notion for documentation, Linear or Jira for task tracking, and Loom for async design walkthroughs. We're flexible and can adapt to your existing stack where needed.
Let's turn your idea into a digital product people love.
